Deal for Specialized Film Firm: Rogers & Cowan, a Los Angeles public relations firm best known for its entertainment and motion picture marketing, has purchased Santa Monica-based Prominent Products Corp., which specializes in placing consumer products in motion pictures. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The firm, which will become part of Rogers & Cowan’s Los Angeles Entertainment Group, will be managed by Prominent Products founder Jeff Matloff, who was named vice president of the division.
