Gypsum Canyon Ideal Location for Much-Needed, New O.C. Jail

Orange County has already invested more than $7 million in plans and environmental impact reports for the Gypsum Canyon Jail.
The recently released, remote-jail report proved what everybody has known all along: that a desert jail is only a ridiculous delaying tactic by a tiny group of folks who don’t want a jail near their homes.
The fact is that without a new jail, criminals will continue to visit all of our homes and neighborhoods to steal our hard-earned possessions and sell drugs to our children.
Let’s clean up Orange County by taking criminals off the streets. We need a jail in Gypsum Canyon now.
