American Airlines Sues FAA: The carrier’s lawsuit charges that the Federal Aviation Administration unlawfully favored United Airlines when it allowed United to alter some flight departure times at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport. A spokesman for the FAA couldn’t be reached to comment on the suit. However, the agency said earlier that it had approved United’s October flight schedule in order to avoid airport congestion.
