Man Dies After Fall From Overpass

ANAHEIM — An unidentified man died Tuesday after falling onto the Riverside Freeway from an overpass, police said.
Police have not determined whether the man accidentally fell or jumped.
The incident occurred on the Riverdale Avenue overpass about 5 p.m., Police Lt. Ray Welch said. The victim landed on the eastbound shoulder of the freeway and was not struck by a vehicle.
The victim was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange, where he was pronounced dead, Welch said.
