System Industries Makes Deal to Sell Database ‘Accelerator’

Anaheim-based System Industries Inc. said it has formed a strategic marketing agreement with Charles River Data Systems of Framingham, Mass.
The agreement, which is valued at more than $35 million for the first three years, calls for System Industries to sell Charles River’s relational accelerator, a database enhancement system for the Digital Equipment Corp. computer market.
