Seven County Surfers Advance in Florida Meet

Seven Orange County surfers will be competing in today’s quarterfinals of the Op East Surfing Championships in Sebastian Inlet, Fla.

San Clemente’s Dino Andino, leader in the point standings on the Professional Surfing Assn. of America tour, and Bud Llamas, of Huntington Beach, each won their second-round heats Saturday.

Also qualifying for the quarterfinals were Matt Archbold, Shane Beschen and Jim Hogan, all of San Clemente, Chris Mauro of South Laguna and Joe McNulty of Capistrano Beach.
