Innocent Pleas: Three men indicted last month for allegedly embezzling $1.2 million from Irvine-based Sterling Savings & Loan pleaded not guilty this week. Darrell Dean Knox, 46, of Fallbrook; Richard Russell Holtby, 44, of Murietta and Allen Zane Frazier, 38, of Midland, Tex., are scheduled to go to trial Nov. 20 in U.S. District Court in Santa Ana. A fourth man--Daniel Lewis O’Brien, 39, of Fontana--was indicted last month but authorities say he is still at large.
