PacTel Cellular to Move Offices: Two months after expanding into a new headquarters building in Orange County, PacTel Cellular said it is moving its corporate offices to San Francisco, home of parent company Pacific Telesis Group. The move will involve transferring 128 corporate staff in Orange County to San Francisco, a company official said. About 400 employees who operate the company’s cellular phone network in Los Angeles will remain in Orange County.
