Star Gazing: Actor Richard Chamberlain will narrate the upcoming PBS series “The Astronomers,” which is produced by KCET Channel 28 and profiles the lives and work of scientists who are studying such phenomena as black holes, gravity waves and the existence of planets outside our solar system. The series has been in production for more than 18 months in locations around the world, including Chile, Italy, Australia and the Soviet Union. The weekly series is scheduled to premiere on KCET in April, 1991.
