A 19-year-old Boston University student collapsed at the 20-mile mark of the U.S. Marines Corps Marathon in Washington and died before she could be revived, officials said.
The cause of Lisa Christensen’s death was not immediately known, Lt. Col. Lorraine Goodrich said. Christensen was part of an ROTC team that competed in the 26.2-mile race, Goodrich said.
