Times Mirror Buys Medical Publisher: Mosby-Year Book, a unit of Times Mirror Co., purchased the remaining 55% interest in medical book publisher B. C. Decker that it does not already own. The value of the acquisition, which does not include B. C. Decker’s Canadian-based journal and electronic publishing operations, was not disclosed. President Brian C. Decker will continue to head the company, which is based in Philadelphia. Times Mirror, owner of the Los Angeles Times and other media properties, acquired 45% of B. C. Decker’s shares in March.
