Ford Credit to Buy Marine Midland Unit: Ford Motor Credit Co. will acquire an auto finance subsidiary of Marine Midland Banks Inc. for an undisclosed sum. The unit will provide financial services for dealers handling products made by Mazda Motor Corp. and Jaguar PLC. Ford Motor Co., parent of Ford Motor Credit, owns 25% of Mazda and all of Jaguar.
