Ventura County House Sales Rise 13% in October

House sales in Ventura County rose 13% in October from the previous month, but were down 32% compared to October, 1989, according to the California Assn. of Realtors.
The median price of a house sold in the area dropped less than 1%, from $241,290 in September to $239,620 in October, and was down 5% from a year ago, the organization reported.
