LOCAL : Moorpark Man Slain in Valley

A Ventura County man was shot to death outside a Panorama City home during an argument, Los Angeles police reported today.
It was unclear if the 29-year-old Moorpark man was involved in the argument or was a bystander when he was hit with a blast from a shotgun about 10 p.m. Sunday while standing in the front yard of a home in the 14600 block of Plummer Street. The victim’s name was not released.
Police this morning located a possible suspect sleeping in a car near the shooting scene, and he is being questioned. His name was not released because he has not been arrested, police said.
