Bergen Brunswig Corp.: The distributor of health-care products said first-quarter profit totaled $16.9 million, up 14% from the same period a year ago. Revenue increased 9% to $1.18 billion. The Orange-based firm credited a slightly higher gross margin and effective operating controls.
