Roybal Gerontology Center Presents Awards

Cal State L.A.’s Roybal Gerontology Center has presented its first corporate, community and media awards at a luncheon at the Westin Bonaventure hotel in downtown Los Angeles.
The awards went to Home Savings of America for its service to the senior citizen community and support of the Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders Assn.; Lupe Morales, who helped found the Community Service Organization, which has served the Boyle Heights area for more than 40 years, and NBC’s “Golden Girls” for its positive senior citizen images.
