Workers Sought

In 1992, Alaska and Canada will commemorate the 50th anniversary of the construction of the Alaska Highway. We are trying to find folks who helped build the highway from March to November, 1942. More than 11,000 from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and 7,500 civilians worked on the highway.

Please contact the Great Alaska Highways Society at P.O. Box 74250, Fairbanks, Alaska 99707, or call (907) 452-8000. SUSAN C. KEMP Executive Director Great Alaska Highways Society Fairbanks, Alaska
