3 Killed in Utah Fog as 45 Vehicles Collide

SALT LAKE CITY — At least three people were killed Wednesday in a series of chain-reaction collisions involving at least 45 vehicles along a fog-shrouded stretch of Interstate 215 near Bountiful, the Utah Highway Patrol said.
Authorities said a number of other victims were injured, some critically. The collisions forced temporary closure of all lanes in both directions.
