THOUSAND OAKS : Park Board Elects Gillette Chairman

Dennis C. Gillette, vice chairman of the Conejo Recreation and Park District, has been elected chairman during a reorganization of the board.
The district oversees parks and recreation facilities in the Conejo Valley from the Conejo Grade to the Los Angeles County line, including Lake Sherwood.
Board members also serve on the Conejo Open Space Conservation Committee, Senior Center Planning Committee and the Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy advisory committee.
Mark H. Jacobsen was elected vice chairman.
