VENTURA : Bicyclist Dies From Accident Injuries

A 71-year-old Ventura man died Monday afternoon from injuries suffered in a bicycling accident earlier this month, according to the coroner’s office.
Pasquale V. Monti, who suffered head injuries in the Jan. 18 accident, died at Ventura County Medical Center without regaining consciousness, Deputy Coroner Craig Stevens said.
Monti was struck by a car driven by Howard Carpenter, 76, of Ojai on Main Street, west of Mills Road, police said.
