Carter Hawley Loses Ticket Service: Bass/TM, a Northern California ticket service, said it has pulled out of 34 Emporium and Weinstocks stores operated by Carter Hawley Hale Stores Inc. Carter Hawley is continuing to operate its 88 department stores after filing for protection under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code last week. Bass/TM said the Weinstocks and Emporium chains owe it more than $200,000, including $50,000 for tickets sold to Disney on Ice events.
