Couric Steps In for Norville on Monday

Katie Couric begins substituting for Deborah Norville as co-anchor of NBC’s “Today” show Monday. Norville begins her maternity leave after today’s show.
Norville is expected to return to “Today” sometime in late April. The network has denied rumors that Norville might not be returning to “Today.” Couric joined “Today” as national correspondent last June.
