Japanese hotels have received a wave of cancellations from foreign business executives and tourists fearing terrorist attacks and hijacking since the outbreak of the Gulf War, hotel industry officials said.
Hallmark Cards Inc. said four cards especially designed for U.S. troops in the Persian Gulf and their families have been sent to retailers and should be available by the end of February.
