Carlos Elliott was hospitalized with a concussion and double jaw fracture after a World Boxing Assn. junior middleweight world championship bout against Gilbert Dele of France at Pointe-A-Pitre, Guadeloupe.
Elliott, from Hartselle, Ala., but living and training in Japan, suffered the injuries during a fight that ended when he was knocked out in the seventh round by Dele.
