What a fine message to Congress and the world President Bush delivered! America continues as a peacekeeping nation because of our military strength. We are grateful to President Bush, but let us not forget President Reagan’s contribution to the maintenance of a strong military. Reagan promoted the Strategic Defense Initiative and pushed for funding.
