Mary Martin Memorial: A $250,000 Mary Martin Scholarship Fund is being established by the National Theatre of the Deaf in honor of the late Broadway star who died last November of cancer. A special event April 25 in New York will dedicate the fund and celebrate the memory of Martin, a long-time supporter of the organization. . . . And This: Deaf producer-actress Julianna Fjeld, who toured with the National Theatre as an actress for five seasons during the 1970s, has been named its co-artistic director.
