Man Found Dead in Pacoima Field

Los Angeles homicide detectives were investigating the death of a man whose body was found Thursday in a field in Pacoima.
Police withheld the name of the man, described as a 42-year-old Latino, until relatives could be contacted.
The body was found about 2:30 p.m. on an abandoned sofa behind several businesses at the northwest corner of Laurel Canyon Boulevard and Osborne Street, Officer Robert Williams said.
