Frederick’s of Hollywood Inc.: The Los Angeles-based lingerie firm said second-quarter net income rose 21% to $2.5 million, while revenue gained 19% to $34.1 million. The firm said the performance primarily reflected good Christmas and Valentine’s Day selling periods for the Frederick’s of Hollywood retail stores, along with benefits achieved from further refinements to its merchandise mix.
