Paper Says Drug Trail Emanates From Poland

WARSAW — Border guards have discovered a narcotics trail leading from Poland to the West and the country was called the biggest producer of amphetamines in Europe, the newspaper Gazeta Wyborcza said Wednesday.
Gazeta said Polish guards arrested a German who admitted he had twice smuggled narcotics from Poland and disclosed where he got the drug. Interpol, the international police organization, has reported that Poland is the biggest producer of amphetamines in Europe.
