Comedy Doctor on Call: ABC, looking to bolster the comedy quotient on “Into the Night with Rick Dees,” is hiring Los Angeles producer Barry Kibrick as a comedy consultant on the late-night show. The Dees show is adding a new “Mary Hartman”-style, show-within-a-show segment called “Deesville,” and Kibrick will work on that segment as well as other possible comedy projects for late-night. ABC has renewed Dees’ show through October.
