2 Killed in Mine Accident

HINDMAN, Ky. — The rock ceiling of a coal mine collapsed Tuesday in eastern Kentucky, killing two miners, officials said. The accident occurred at Bullion Hollow Mining Inc.’s Big Branch Mine No. 1 in Knott County in the rugged Appalachian Mountains.
