The NCAA is investigating possible rules violations at Auburn involving recruiting in the men’s basketball program and extra benefits for male tennis players.
The university received an official letter of inquiry from the NCAA Monday and has until June 24 to respond.
The NCAA indicated that the allegations, if proved, would be considered major violations.
