Vons Cos., Arcadia, has appointed Neill Crowley to the newly created position of executive vice president for marketing and specialty retailing. His duties will include overseeing the Vons’ Pavilions, Tianguis and drugstore divisions. Crowley was previously president of Skaggs Alpha Beta in Texas. Also at Vons, Peter Horn, senior vice president and general manager, has been promoted to executive vice president and general manager, and Bob Kelly, senior vice president for procurement, has been named executive vice president of buying and merchandising.
