Ralphs Grocery Co.: The Compton-based supermarket chain said it narrowed its fourth-quarter loss sharply, to $14.8 million from $44.2 million a year ago. Revenue increased 14% to $932 million. The full-year net loss was reduced to $51.4 million from $69.7 million, while revenue rose 9.5% to $2.8 billion. Comparable store sales, including replacement stores, increased 3.1% in the quarter over a year ago.
