Sara Lee Unloads European Drug Unit: Sara Lee Corp. sold its European over-the-counter drug business, Nicholas, to Switzerland’s Roche Holding Ltd. in an $821-million deal, the companies announced. The transaction is consistent with Sara Lee’s international expansion of its personal products businesses, spokeswoman Denise Stovell said. “The over-the-counter business was never part of our strategy,” she said.
