‘Thelma & Louise’: What’s It All About?

I was dismayed to see “Thelma & Louise” listed as one of your recommended movies--it is a silly, beautifully photographed car commercial. Though publicized as a feminist movie and an escape from male oppression, “Thelma & Louise” is really about two gals victimized by their own stupidity.
