Michael Weisman, former longtime executive producer at NBC Sports and most recently under contract to CBS Entertainment, has been named president of Davis Sports Entertainment. DSE, a subsidiary of Marvin Davis-owned Davis Cos., has been formed to produce sports events for television, including pay-per-view, cable and network specials. At CBS, Weisman worked on the now-canceled “Pat Sajak Show.”
