World IN BRIEF : PAKISTAN : 87% Want A-Bombs Made, Poll Finds

An overwhelming majority of Pakistanis want their government to build nuclear bombs, according to an independent opinion poll. Gallup Pakistan said 87% of the 1,000 people it surveyed in March and April favored Pakistan having nuclear weapons. Only 7% opposed the idea, it said.
