All Buttoned Up: Actor Richard Dreyfuss, an activist Democrat, showed up at producer Jerry Weintraub’s Malibu party for President George Bush and First Lady Barbara Bush wearing a special button he made that read: “Let’s have a Domestic Desert Storm.” Barbara Bush’s reported comment was, “Well, George believes that.” Dreyfuss’ wife, Jeramie, told Mrs. Bush that Dreyfuss was going to wear a button that said, “Tax the Rich.” The President is said to have responded, “I don’t believe that.”
