Regarding David Gilbert’s letter to the editor (May 26), I have called the (French Tourist Board) 900 number many times and always get a busy signal. I have also called the French Consulate and French Government Tourist office and either get a recording or a busy signal. This gives me a clear message that they really do not want us to visit their country. I also have changed my mind about visiting France.
