Employee of Gun Store Is Shot to Death

A clerk in the Guns R Us weapons store on El Cajon Boulevard was shot to death Tuesday evening, San Diego police said.
The man died shortly after he was found lying on his back behind the store counter with a gunshot wound in the chest, police said.
A police sergeant said two people flagged down a patrol car about 5:25 p.m. to say they had found the wounded man after they entered the store. The officers called for medical aid, but the man, as yet unidentified by police, was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at Sharp Memorial Hospital at 5:53 p.m.
