‘Star Spangled Banner’

I was somewhat incensed by the letter (July 14) from Gary Lynch about the national anthem. He is correct in saying that “The Star Spangled Banner” is not an easy song to sing, but as long as it is being sung, respect and consideration should be shown.
Not only is the song our national anthem, but there is also someone singing it. Lack of respect (for each other and ourselves) is what causes most of the problems in our society today.
