General Dynamics Sues British Firm: General Dynamics Corp. filed a multimillion-dollar lawsuit against Falcon International, which it accused of providing undocumented workers for a commercial airplane project. General Dynamics now faces federal charges that it violated the Immigration Reform and Control Act. According to the lawsuit filed in federal court in San Diego, the company paid the British labor contractor more than $1 million to provide 27 jig and fixture builders who worked for six months on the MD-11 jet program. General Dynamics said Falcon assured it that the workers had legal status to work in the United States.
