Madonna Song: Singer-songwriter Ingrid Chavez has sued psychedelic retro-rocker Lenny Kravitz in U.S. District Court in Minneapolis, claiming he defrauded her into giving up her songwriting credit for Madonna’s steamy single, “Justify My Love.” Chavez, who co-starred with Prince in “Graffiti Bridge,” contends she wrote the lyrics to “Justify My Love” last year. Her lawsuit seeks in excess of $50,000 in damages. Kravitz has acknowledged Chavez wrote some of the lyrics, but he says they agreed not to put her name on the song for personal and professional reasons.
