Perrier Settles FTC Case: The bottlers of Perrier mineral water said they have reached a final agreement settling government allegations that the company made false claims. The agreement settles FTC allegations that Perrier wasn’t as natural as its bottlers claimed. The agency charged that Perrier was “processed and filtered and certain substances are removed before the water is bottled.” The company has not admitted any wrongdoing and has stood by its claims. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
