AFTERSHOCKS: The mountain lion attack against Laura Small, now being replayed in court, may still be hurting attendance at Caspers Park. . . . Most of the South County wilderness park has been closed to children since the 1986 attack. Since then, the number of yearly visitors has been cut in half. Says parks official Tim Miller: “We’re really only entertaining adults now.”
