Chicago-based Quaker Oats Co. increased its quarterly common stock dividend by 10% to 43 cents from 39 cents, payable Oct. 15 to shareholders of record Sept. 20. . . . The Investment Company Institute reported that the assets of the nation’s 562 money market mutual funds increased by $6.25 billion to $464.87 billion in the week of Sept. 11.
