From Staff and Wire Reports

Coach Bob Johnson of the Pittsburgh Penguins flew to his home in Colorado from Pittsburgh to begin radiation treatments for a brain tumor, and says he will coach again soon.

In his first public statement since becoming seriously ill on Aug. 29, Johnson, 60, said: “The fire of coaching still burns inside of me. I will be back. When I return, it will be my greatest day in coaching.”
