MAI Lenders OK Deferred Payment: MAI Systems Corp., a Tustin computer software company, said Thursday that it has received a waiver from its bank lenders that will allow it to defer a $6-million principal payment previously due Oct. 8 until Feb. 28, 1992. The amended loan agreement puts MAI on “a more stable financial footing” as it seeks to improve its operating results, said MAI Vice Chairman Robert J. Amman.
