El Monte : Time for Parade Entries

The theme for this year’s 40th annual parade, which will be held Nov. 9, is “Christmas at the End of the Santa Fe Trail.”
Parade categories include Color Guards, Junior and Senior Bands, Solo Majorette, Majorette Groups, Drill Teams, Floats, Equestrians, Antique and Classic Cars, and Novelty Entries.
Applications can be obtained from the Parks and Recreation Office, Chamber of Commerce and City Hall. All entries must be postmarked no later than Oct. 21.
